Trevenna Barns in Cornwall is a such a great country wedding venue to get married at and I was really excited to shoot here again. Mandy and Rob’s amazing wedding was held here last month and it was a blast!
Trevenna barns were previously a working farm but now have been converted to make this a perfect wedding venue. Everything is onsite. Guests can stay in some beautifully converted rooms and Trevenna has some stunning grounds and views of Cornwall, which are perfect for wedding photos!
Mandy and Rob both got ready in different rooms at the venue. This was great for the photography allowing me to quickly change between the bride and groom. My documentary style photography was exactly what Mandy and Rob were after. I snapped away with a relaxed, candid approach. There was no stop start photography! Just me capturing real moments of happiness! Just was I love doing!
The weather was touch and go and all fingers were crossed for an out side ceremony... Luckily my anti-rain dance worked and Mandy walked down the aisle with Cornish grass underfoot! Trevenna’s new arbour made for a lovely spring setting for the ceremony.
Mandy and Rob’s wedding was perfect for so many reasons, but the main one for me was that Rob and Mandy were so happy! Little details showed this, like how they joyfully danced down the aisle just after they were married. It was an expression of how great they were feeling and how comfortable they were with all their friends and family around them.
The day continued with some amazing food coming out (as always) from the Trevenna kitchens. Thank-you Caroline, and the chef for some great grub! Some heart warming and also cringe worthy speeches came next with some great music and dancing to finish.
Thank-you so much for having me at your wedding Mandy and Rob, I really enjoyed photographing it for you!
